I missed the pulse of salt water and the clarity of the horizon. Over time, my subjects changed, but the instinct stayed the same. I was always trying to translate a feeling of freedom — of being suspended between effort and ease — into form, rhythm, and movement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this series, I've come back to motifs that have followed me across decades and islands: shells, textiles, the soft geometry of Ikat. These are more than aesthetic choices. They're vessels of memory. Woven threads, like tide lines, mark time and endurance.
